Amer & Àfrica met eight years ago in Barcelona. Together they have toured across Europe and participated in a number of festivals. In 2013 they won the Besmina prize and in 2017 participated in the Biennale Internationale des Arts du Cirque (BIAC) in Marseille. Àfrica Llorens comes from a professional background in karate, while Amer Kabbani’s background is in circus and clowning. Their collaboration fuses technique and precision with performance and acting, resulting in a dynamic style teeming with fresh insights. ENVÁ is their most ambitious project to date.
